You will be

The event tourism project manager designs tourism events and negotiates event-related budgets. They are involved in all stages of the project, managing and organizing all logistics on the ground and drafting communication materials.

The UNWTO Students' League is an international competition organized by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). This competition aims to create an innovative environment to motivate and empower tourism students. It allows participants to work on real challenges in the tourism sector and propose sustainable and innovative solutions.

Students form teams and work on specific challenges related to sustainable tourism. They present their solutions to a jury composed of industry professionals.

The best teams are selected to participate in final rounds where they can present their projects to a wider audience and receive constructive feedback.

 

Preparation for the UNWTO Students’ League Competition

Our sustainable tourism students are actively preparing to participate in this prestigious UNWTO Students' League competition. This international competition, organized by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), offers a unique platform for students from around the world to propose innovative and sustainable solutions to the current challenges facing the tourism sector.

  • Workshops and conferences: organizing interactive sessions with sustainable tourism experts to inspire and guide our students

Green City Seminar in Tallinn

Immerse yourself in the world of sustainable tourism with our exclusive seminar, "Green City in Tallinn." Designed for students of sustainable tourism, this week-long program offers a complete immersion in one of Europe's most sustainable cities: Tallinn was named European Green Capital in 2023.

Seminar program

  • Day 1: Arrival and exploration of the city with a guided tour of eco-friendly initiatives and a welcome dinner at a committed local restaurant
  • Day 2: Conferences and interactive workshops on sustainable tourism practices and the organization of eco-responsible events
  • Day 3: Visits to local projects that are exemplary in terms of urban sustainability and meeting with Tallinn Green Capital officials
  • Day 4: Discover local businesses committed to sustainable tourism, with enriching exchanges with innovative entrepreneurs.
  • Day 5: Day of reflection and group work to develop sustainable tourism projects, followed by presentations and professional feedback
  • Day 6: Exploring community initiatives, including a visit to Tallinn's recycling center and a bike ride to discover green spaces
  • Day 7: Closing session and discussion on what has been learned during the week, before departure

Full certification is obtained by validating the three skill sets, supplemented by a validation procedure: Professional portfolio: national examination in a work situation, defense: oral presentation of the activity report, project portfolio, and employability booklet. Capitalization by skill set is possible.

Diploma/certification

Level 6 professional certification "Event Project Manager," registered with the RNCP under number 34927, by decision of the Director General of France Compétences dated September 14, 2020, issued by FORMATIVES, NSF codes 320m and 335.
